Lots of things happened in September. Like we got our interim reports for school, we
went to Palestine for Labor Day, and went the Bevin's for a campfire that night, and we
had our last Puppet Ministry at the camp ground Arrow Head, plus we all went to Wally
World.
Lets start off with getting our interim reports. I t two A's, four B's,
and one C.
Nick got almost all A's and you know Mark (a straight A student) got all A's like usual.
Well I just hope I can get those B's and that C up to A's.
For Labor Day we went to Palestine and went through all the grauge
sales and ate lunch at the fire house. I bought a sweat shirt for $1.00 and found a
quarter in the pocket of it. The rest of the family did not get anything there. That night
night for Labor Day we went over to the Bevin's for a camp fire. It was fun We cooked
hot-dogs over the camp fire. Us big kids played Capture the Flag when it was dark enough.
The adults sat around and talked. We stayed until 10:00 p.m.. I had a good time there.
We had our last camp ground ministry at Arrowhead Camp ground. It went
good because we had about 20 kids there. My best friend Leslie was there too and she said
it was good. We think it might be the last one that are going to do, but we aren't sure.
We usually do the puppets and then a ministry, then an experiment, then we do a craft or a
take home craft or a toy to take with them. I think the kids enjoy it.
We went to Wolly World and it was fun!!! We went with the Boy Scout
Troop. Everyone that helped park cars at the fair got to go. There was 9out of 21 people
that were invited. But that was good because that meant we each got to spend more money
each. We each got to spend $27.75 because the troop had a total of $250 for everyone to
spend. My favorite track was the Big Track. It is a big go kart track. There was this tank
game too. It was cool because you got inside the tank ( ground or water ) and you shot
balls at the other tanks. If you got hit on the target your gun would stop working for
about 15 seconds. You could eather get in a tank by yourself or a two person tank. The
tank was like a two story tank if you were on the bottom you would drive but if you were
on the top you shot the balls. Me and mom got the wrist bands. With that you could go on
the big slide, moon walk, and do the mini golf all you want. Me and mom went on the slide
like 15 times. It got tiring after a while because you had to climb like tons of stairs to
get up to top. I went on moon walk some and me and mom played a game of mini golf. the
rest of the crew went on the go-karts. I had a good time there. I also had a great
month!!!!
