This is a picture of our tractor. It is a Yanmar 2000. What? Haven't heard of Yanmar? Yanmars are Japanese tractors. They have them over there in Japan like we have used cars here in the U. S. (That's a ton of tractors!) Anyway, companies here buy them used, then fix them up (Well, at least some fix them up.). If you didn't know, John Deere buy new Yanmars, paint them green, and put a John Deere sticker on them (They only do this for their small, compact tractors, though.).
It's a diesel, 2 cylinder 24 horse engine. Dad has some hook-ups so he can use it to mow, plow snow, till the garden, and dig post holes.
