November, 2001

Since Arby is on his last legs now we decided to get another dog. A person at church gave us a Jack Russel. His name is George and he is still a puppy. Most of the time he is chained up or just running around outside. Every time you let him in he is very crazy because he always jumps on you and runs around the house. He has been peeing on the rug by the front door a lot. He has also peed on Jennys blankets on her bed before. Goerge likes to sing if you howl and act like you are a dog too. He sounds funny when he howls like that.

We got our report cards from school back this month. All of us are doing very well in school. Mark got straight A's and Jenny and I got A's and B's. My favorite subjects are math and science.

Dad got cement poured in the new barn so we have a floor in there. It is a very nice barn with cement in it.

November had one main event , Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving our cousins came from Colorado Springs, Colorado. They came here last summer and then we went to Colorado this summer to see them. They came at about three o'clock p.m. and stayed until nine o'clock p.m. We rode minibikes , talked , played cards , and played video games. We all had a lot of fun playing together. My great grandma also came over. Dad picked her up around five o'clock. We all ate a great big turkey and all of the food was delicious. Our uncle Scott and his wife came for a visit and also ate dinner with us. Scott told us how he fell off of a ladder and landed on a fence on his back. His back was hurting him for a while. Scott had brought us a whole bunch of the new state quarters. We have been collecting them ever since they started coming out. I stuffed myself because the turkey was so good. On Friday our cousins came again for the last time. My cousin Danny and I rode the minibikes until the adults left because they were afraid we would wreck the minibikes. All of the adults went to see our aunt Martha which is not doing to well with her health. She is my grandmas sister. All of the kids stayed at our house while the adults were gone. We all had fun playing with each other. When the parents got back from seeing aunt Martha our cousins had to leave. It was the last time we would see them for a year or two. Everyone said good bye and they left. On Sunday , after church , we went to our grandmas house for another Thanksgiving dinner. My aunt and uncle also came and ate with us. My uncles daughter also came with her husband. Everyone had a great time while eating and watching movies.
